Dispell does what right now!? Remove's Drunkness and Divine light (Which dont affect a mage in combat anyways) I say make dispell be able to get rid of posion like cleanse, Makes sense because when you do dispell on someone (Nothing wrong with them) it says "There are no bad effects to remove." Posion = Bad effect! Roar!

I could be wrong here...

but isn't Dispell and Mage Vs Mage auto spell?

Don't it like counter anther mages beam or waht not now and then and is always running once you buy it?

(I might be think'in of something its its really early atm and im half-wake)

Edit: Alright this got me wondering so I looked it up in the NM-Helper. :)

Works on Divine Light, Drunkness, Hypnotised, Subdue, etc..

Now that I know what im talk'in about...

I don't support that change..

Its to remove bad spells, posion isn't a spell.. its well posion, so Dispell shouldn't get rid of it..

"A small snake has posioned you" {Other wise known as biting}

Not

"A small snake casted posion on you" {Which would be a spell, which Dispell would work... but thats not how it works}

So like I said in the end...

It removes self buffs to, so if i were to cast protect then think it needs refreshing, but cant wait for it to run out to refresh you can dispell it then re cast, the same with aop etc, usefull prior to attcking some one, unbuff and rebuff fully before striking

Apparently there was talk for it to remove positive spells like Enhance and Champion's Strength, so it can be used offensively, but I'm not sure what came of that, but otherwise "Dispell" is a play on the word "Dispel" to remove spell effects, and poison isn't one of them, although saying that, it shouldn't really remove drunkenness either, because that is technically blood poisoning.

I am not in favor of giving Dispell cleanse abilities.
Mages are not meant to be all powerful; they have weaknesses---and if they can skip over traps and poison, along with the extra hp they have over level 30, they will be too overpowered.
Wisdom is the principle thing. Therefore, get wisdom, and in all your getting, get understanding.

Yes, the extra hp is very unfair. No other class get extra hp when they level past 30.

Anyway, not supported for reasons already stated.
