1. Teenagers who would skip school to play NM if they could, spending every free minute on NM to either train or pk, computer and connection sponsored by daddy they can log on 25+ alts and usually try to solve arguments about higher things with the simple statement: "go s nub"
2. People with extremely low self esteem in rl that are scared of facing the world outside, but managed to have an account of archmasters and equipment one way or another, now executing this newfound "power" through terrorizing other players.
3. Potheads who use things like friend and clan chat to exchange info about new weed recipes, how to best homegrow it, what is best for munchies, what movie to best watch when stoned etc. Usually fairly easy to get along with, since they don't do much of anythign when stoned.
4. Moochers who don't know their way to anywhere except from Boars to SGH to ask things like "can i plz hav sum gold ne1? plz!!" or "can ne1 giv me a free arch crit plz?!?"
5. Thieves, cheaters and liars, who will use any means to get a hold of crits and items except working for them.
6. Those few who are really cool people, an almost extinct breed by now. Range from only having low lvl alts to accounts full of arches and equip, some do pk, but they don't go bragging about it to everyone and their brother and occasionally even help out a new player, even if just with helpful hints. Show signs of intelligence when having a conversation.
1 through 5 is the reason I have to say people...

I dislike the roller, but I play with what it gives me... I don't hate it.
The thievery is bad, but I've never been on the wrong end of a thief.
Besides... a thief is a person
I picked 'some of the people'
I think that Maha's post summed up why far, far better than I ever could

Wow .. that makes me number 6 then, cuz i aint 1,2,3,4 or 5 thats for sure.People, have to go with people. By now I have categorized the population of NM:
1. Teenagers who would skip school to play NM if they could, spending every free minute on NM to either train or pk, computer and connection sponsored by daddy they can log on 25+ alts and usually try to solve arguments about higher things with the simple statement: "go s nub"
2. People with extremely low self esteem in rl that are scared of facing the world outside, but managed to have an account of archmasters and equipment one way or another, now executing this newfound "power" through terrorizing other players.

actually thats not 100% correct. because first of all i do smoke. (5 joints a day least) and i like to keep an rpg mind. so i don't get on and talk about recipes, but more along the game and go through and get some new armor and other items. but it really helps me out to think of some new ideas for my game i'm creating along with my team. so the one who talk about that alot are really not stoners, but beginners. stoner would do things they like to do and stick to it until some idiot comes up and ruin their day by saying lets go do this and you don't want to move. these "stoners" you know must have just started, or never even touch it and just saying rumors they heard from friends who do smoke. (or the web)3. Potheads who use things like friend and clan chat to exchange info about new weed recipes, how to best homegrow it, what is best for munchies, what movie to best watch when stoned etc. Usually fairly easy to get along with, since they don't do much of anythign when stoned.

I get great amusment from the game as a whole. There's such a problem with supremacy, and no way to judge who is the 'best'. So, I don't see how it can be seen as boring.
How can you hate rolling, without it, there'd be even less character individuality.
You hate being PKed? Since when was anything handed to you on a plate?
Getting gold? Getting equipment [then losing it], EXP [then losing it]? You do know that this is a game, right?! If you don't like the basic aspects of it, don't play?
Finally; thieft? Ha. You loser. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If you can still get stolen from with all the baby protection JLH has in place now, then just shut up and be glad you didn't play back when there was none of it.

I'd definately class you there maha6. Those few who are really cool people, an almost extinct breed by now. Range from only having low lvl alts to accounts full of arches and equip, some do pk, but they don't go bragging about it to everyone and their brother and occasionally even help out a new player, even if just with helpful hints. Something that really annoys me on Nightmist, and also saddens me a bit is that today a new guy (atleast i think he/she was new) logged on and said hey can you guys help me? There were 10+ different people in the Boars tusk that day and nobody helped her/him and didn't even say 'Go north, there is a tutorial section that you can learn from'. So i thought it was the right thign to do so I said go north, and see the tutorial section. I log back on about 10 hours later this little guy is doing really well, obviously had some more help but they were doing fine. The person went to SGH and asked for a lift to Black thorn, where he could level up. This guy said sure, and invited and went south and pked him, then came back and grinned and showed off... why? This was a while ago, and i'm just saying this because this post has been opened...
Lady maha is right, there are just a few really cool people playing at the moment, and will generally only PK if they get attacked first/have too. I think Nightmist have to see more of these people...
