Name of Amulet: Celestial Amulet

Base Armor:2. Can be used by. clerics,druids,fighters,mages,pacifists,paladins,rangers,thieves, Basic Description: A Necklace made of Silver laced with pure gold. It has 5 seperate rare stones ingraved into slots around the neck peice. When worn, the heat from the wielder's body causes the necklace to glow with a powerful light radius that surrounds its wielder.
level Requirement: 30, str mod:0, Intel mod:0, Dext mod:1, Const mod:0, Wisd mod:1, Char mod:0.

Probably wont get put into game but still its nice to look at.

Lol probably, I guess with only 1 of this item it would be too powerful.

I just never saw a dext and wisd mod item ever, and thought I should just design one to see what it would look like.

It's description could use a little more work, but the overall layout of the Amulet isnt half bad.

The stats themselves are too much for an amulet, I feel, especially Dexterity and Wisdom in tandem. The description is pretty good, but I cannot help sense that the name of the amulet is a tribute to Zephie and her Celestial Bow!

The most feasable way to open up new possibilities for amulets and rings is to nerf the current ones so that there are both negative and positive effects for each individual item. I am aware that several items are designed in such a fashion (boots of time I believe were the first step in this direction), and most are rendered unsuitable due to superior unflawed equipment and accessories.

Yall are right. but still the necklace is a nice implentation of imagination I guess.

I really wanted to see how the Player base would feel about an +dext , Wisd item.

But its still very nice too look at.

Lets see, Druids would be rediculous, even more so than they already are, having Gloves of Vigor add strength and wisdom doesnt really help most other classes, same with this, the dex will counter the -1 from boots of time, giving a 5 stat elf druid, just for fun, with boots of time, gloves of vigor, and this here amulet, oh and antlers for fun too,

2 stat mod items is really over powerful, boots of time makes up for it by having the -1 stat to dex which alot of people consider most important stat.

I have thought of a Story line behind this amulet..

and maybe could make a questie out of it :

Long ago,The was a Goddess named Zephie. this great goddess ruled over nightmist for countless Centruies with her Celestial Bow in her hands and Celestial Amulet around her neck. Then, a New god came onto the scene, Havanor, That threatened Zephies very life. In a Fight against Havanor and Zyphie, Havanor managed to severly wound Zephie to the point of almost death. But Zyphie managed to escape Before Havanor before he could swing his final blow. Near her death, Zephie Feared that Havanor would use her Amulet to destroy all of nightmist. She Shattered the Amulet, and scattered all the Rare stones and her Necklace peice all across Nightmist. If someone could find all the Rare stones and the Necklace peice, They Could reassemble this Amulet. Bringing back this Amulets its Great and Glorious power.

Rares stones that need to be found. Topaz, Diamond, Ruby, Saphire, and Emerald.

Necklace piece needs to be found. Celestial Necklace Piece.

This quest can be every going if staff wants it like that or It can be limited.

Also the Gems must be assembled in the right order or the necklace will explode scattering the peices through out nightmist again.

It gave him great powers of improved cunning and intellect with which he used to outsmart assassins trying to kill him. The Amulet was lost during the Undead Wars, and was believed to have been found by Pandilex, and stored safely in his tower., Level needed to equip it: 30, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 1, Dexterity modifier: 1, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0.

For this post and every other "new item" post. I believe the direction of this game needs to be items with less power and more affordable or items of equal power and same price. I think that adding items that are more powerful will remove the integrity of older items. We have already had to update old items, theres no point in having to update more of them.

This item would sell way over 20mil, so really expensive would have to be in the 50-100mil ball park and even that could be bought within 3-4 months of it entering game.
