They already have worked for the cash that they used to buy the clan house with.Didn't support. Selling a clan is too often someone selling out for easy cash.... make them work for it.

And a lot of times they haven't. I don't see much work in watching clan members donate. I know if I was ever forced to sell Broken, just about every member I have would get a more or less decent amount because they all donated. I feel I have no right to claim it all as mine simply because I had the genius idea to /clan create Broken. They already have worked for the cash that they used to buy the clan house with.Didn't support. Selling a clan is too often someone selling out for easy cash.... make them work for it.

I agree.Pretty lame idea. I mean if your going to take and sell something your members worked so hard to help you build I say that the chairperson should have to endure each and every crit being booted from the clan one by one. That was for those that just build clans to get others to donate and sell later can atleast say they earned it...lol

sayadin donated 200,000 gold coin to the clan.
1 month later the chairperson sells the clan.
sayadin recieves 150,000 gold coins from the sold clan.
in other words the server keeps the receipt and once the clan is sold all members who donated will get 75% of it back. So the members who worked hard for the gold get their share and it will stop chairpersons from taking the money from those who did most of the work.

maybe there could be a way to keep count on how much a member donates to the clan. kinda like a receipt or something. so in the end when the chairperson does sell the clan the donater(s) of the clan will recieve their percentage from their previous donations.. for example
/nod
that is fair, a member shud get some money for donating but the chairman/woman also has a right because they made the clan

It simply depends on the chairman/woman to be fair about sharing any profits coming from a clan sale. Ideally the clan simply won't get sold. People donate to a clan for the support they get from it, not to save up gold and get 75% of it back later.

and who would give up 100k-500k??? its called greed. when you give another person some gold or a crap load of it, and tell them not to spend one piece. which of course they will spend a small portion of it and say they will pay you back.. if you are able to find someone to hold your 30k of gold without spending one gold piece then they are the more trustworthy person.
not everthing is fair in life. thats why we have challenges
