Okay, so you can probably guess what this is about.

Ever since the 1-alt version of Nightmist has been brought out it has had a drastic effect on the community, not all bad i'll happily admit - old players have started playing again, people have basically been given a second chance to play a game, but not only has it given a positive radiance to the game but it has also influenced it in such a way that it's almost unbearable.. Three times, I personally have been removed from peoples friends and basically ignored by just because of the clan I am in.. These are people who I have known for months, sometimes years, people who I have known for longer than the majority of my friends today - and just because of some game they ignore you because of some stupid reason, like the clan you're in ? I don't know, I just don't think this is right. This is in no way a dig towards the people who did this, im just trying to get a point out, basically:
Nightmist is changing and has already begun to change; just please, make sure that it changes for the better. As it is going so far, the player base is slowly getting more and more obnoxious and stubborn to get their own way, and will happily screw anyone over just to get it. I guess I just miss the way Nightmist was before this game came out, when you took people training to try make new friends, have fun with each other, play around with new stuff and find new challenges... When you could train with someone, and if you accidently hit their crit and it died it wouldn't be a big deal, and they wouldn't bite your head off like they do now.

I know i'm going to get flamed for this, but frankly, i don't care. I had to say it sometime and it has been eating away at me for a while. No, this isn't just because i've gone from riches to rags, and its not because I can't roll a 6-stat ling either, I just thought "hell, this section of the forum is to comment on the game, so why hold back." If you do read this far, then thank you for actually reading.. Probably doesn't make any sense due to late night stupidity but i'll eventually get over it.

It doesn't make a lot of sense...that is true.

Anyway, I could see removal from Friend List in that case because people on FL tend to know where you are and what you are doing---at least those on my FL on NM usually do or can know what I am doing.

In a game that requires clan work, giving out your location has to be cut down drastically---otherwise you endanger your clan's party rather than just your own alts.
However, if due to you being in a clan people are actually being mad at you or are no longer your friend...I'd say they probaby never really were. Or they just take Nightmist WAY too seriously.

Just my two cents and view of it as a logical reason to limit friend lists.

Enemy chat is where it's at

Friend chat is basically a general chat with people who aren't on the same square.

But anyway, it's alot harder to do many things and people want help, and they expect their friends to help them.

Forcing teamwork won't solve animosity between players <3

Funny how on the new server people who were weak in the old one suddenly have developed balls and you realise that they were never actually your mates... they just didn't want to die but now omgosh they think they are hot nuts.

I've also been removed off peoples freind list because I was "in the wrong clan"
Frankly, it' their loss, I'm a decent kinda person and friendly and always willing to lend a hand, if they have a million others willing to do the same then I guess they won't miss me anyways. If people want to value friendship so low that a difference of opinion can make you hate someone then I guess there was nothing there to begin with sadly.

i know this is somewhat directed at me, and i still love you, i just dont want people from your clan on my friend list, and made it very clear that it wasnt anything personal. like for example, /who adultery. so because di and rich were able to use my character and pk on it, doesnt mean they train it, but bc i was killing adultery over and over and his nuts talking pissed me off, all of a sudden i supposedly doing what im killing other people for doing. the only time anyone touches lappa training wise is if they lose the exp on it to start, bc that was the agreement for anyone to use it. what they lose, they get back. rich didnt and rich lost access to lappa. end of story. serg trains what exp he does lose, and for that, im happy with him. hes honorable and knows to take care of what isnt his. and di, i believe she did like 200k exp when i was like level 19 or something. i didnt tell her to nor did i pay her like adultery/zipo. people like that = people i dont want to be near any way associates with, and a clannie of theirs = an association i dont want. i'll talk to you through pages and w/e but to be on my friend list, no. like alex said, friend chat is basically a general chat for people not on the same square. i dont have a 'friend' list on WoW, i have to page people to talk, so its not a big deal on nm for me to not have them on my friend list. so to the people like chainy and kier that feel that im taking it out on them, im not. my friend list is more or less people i know and trust within my clan/clan allies. i dont use it as a general chat and i dont want people on their that can in anyway mess up what im doing or planning by 'slipping' to a clannie that doesnt happen to like me. i pk. people dont like me cuz i pk. i run the 1alt pk show. so i prefer to keep myself well guarded and i just dont lose. then people on level 26-28 pallys and clerics ask for 1v1 because i cant round them and everyone knows that, but they challenge after i manage to kill them anyways. thats ridiculous if u think im gona play duely and not invis. my class was given invis for a reason. at sub level 26, a mage is the weakest class in the game and gets hit for the most. not to mention the lowest hp. so if you think your a tough guy and you want to challenge me 1v1, too bad. you got owned, and you'll get owned again. utilize your class the way it was made and you might go a long way. im sorry for knowing my class in and out and knowing how to take out parties (hedge lord anyone?) out with just 1 character and how to stay alive in the duration of dropping them 1 by 1. ask some of the more cool-headed people. i know what im doing, and im very good at it. now quit taking it so personal and play the game. and to those that think im not thier friend because i took you off a silly little list, shame. my friendship goes farther than a silly list and will continue to. now that i've said my peace, good night bc im tired.
