Okay, think about it logically, wouldn't you learn somthing, even if you fail?.. I mean com'on, if I were to try and get good at doing the long-jump, even if I don't land in that little pit thingy, I know how to jump better next time. (lean forwards more, or somthing like that, idk long jumping is just what came to my mind at the moment... anyways!)
It makes perfect logical sence, and I say that I like this idea.

Maybe a lil exp. Like the same you get from killing a bunny.

yes but then magic users would gain constant exp and all melee would be left behind, they dont get exp for missing

That doesn't really work with how it is right now. You don't get exp for trying (such as ac blocks and what not). If it's exp for fizzles, then it'd also be exp for missing.
I just don't really see how this makes a lot of sense. I wouldn't be bothered if it were added, but I don't think it should be in game.

Easy answer, No. Exp gaining is easy enough. Think of zerkers and how fast they get exp already.
