it would work like this:

/switch [weapon]/[weapon]

usefull if full mana/pots on inventory and need to switch weapon ... takes one slot instead of 2 and its faster ....

Agreed, it's annoying having to have an added inventory spot open for equipment changes. However it might be easier that whatever equipment is current equipped, is automatically unequipped when previous said item is equipped...

For cohearencies sake.
Deval is using a Halberd. In his inventory he has 13 potions and a blade of time. He click the equip button and clicks on the blade of time. The halberd is automatically unequipped and swaps positions with the blade of time. Also applicable to armour and accesories.

ya, i like this idea, i doubt staff will ever make it, but i like it.
i hate having to risk losing (or puting n vault) your good weapon while u go to swamps
it'd be nice for rangers, when i get low hp, switch to spider staff

It's a perfectly valid reason, which makes use of the inventory more efficient, and reduces fiddling around, and ultimately makes the game more user friendly. Saying that it 'probably wont get put in', is a very misinformed opinion.

I find it so annoying having to drop a potion or crystal just to equip something new.

Umm this may be late but is it going to be the original idea or devals version?

It's not exacltly true to do it like this, meaning that, because if you'd do this, it'd be like not having your hands full (full pots / mana) it'd be more 'Realistic' to drop the pot, and pick it up later...

Don't tell me that you think having an inventory of items means you are carrying them all in your hands?
