Erm, on the list I saw there was an option for United Kingdom, and it counted England as being a valid place. You should probably make sure you're getting the right version ![^_^](http://www.nightmist-online.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
Indeed, there was a United Kingdom option which I selected, but on the FAQ it says that
Anyone with an Internet connection in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States can visit FilePlanet or Blizzard on the day the open beta begins to try to acquire an open beta account
It doesn't say that people in England and Europe can try to aquire an open beta account

Edit: Nvm- I just went back and actually bothered to read their terms of service...
Those who choose to access the Service from locations outside of the United States, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent local laws are applicable
So I guess England is just one of those places which does so on its own initiative ^^
I have a question though...
In order to establish an Account, you must be a 'Natural Person,' who is over the age of eighteen (18) years old or the age of majority in the country where you are a citizen. Corporations, Limited Liability Companies, partnerships, or any other form of legal entity other than that of a "natural person" may not establish an account, and by accepting this Agreement, you hereby represent and warrant meet these eligibility requirements
So ... corporations (etc) aren't natural people, "legal entities" may not be natural people... does anyone else find the term "natural person" bizarre?
Also, to Someone: It isn't using bittorrent, its using Blizzard Downloader
![:P](http://www.nightmist-online.co.uk/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
However yes, as you say, it
is also supposed to upload to other people as you download as bittorrent does.
However... just like bittorrent... its probably choked. I know whenever I try to download an overly large or 'popular' file on torrent I get the choked message so... something similar is probably clogging the Blizzard Downloader up.
