Too high of a dex to strength ratio for: Zerker, Fighter, Druid
Too high hp for a druid
Will have high hp + w/ sg's as a ranger it will dominate halflings
Thieves...ones equiped right will be overpowered... Gauntlets of Virtue + AoH= 21 xx 21 19 18 19; str. of a dwarf but hits like halfling and has higher hp than halfling...
Kinda makes gnome clerics useless....higher str. but heals for just a little bit less, yet sturdier for bein attacked.

lets assume for a few minutes that this would ever be implemented.

Traditionally, a goblin would be a rather small, weak, agile creature. lets also assume hes not very smart or wise or good-looking.

Goblin: 17 16 22 18 17 15 is what I would suggest.
(I also think h-orcs should be: 22 14 17 22 16 14 but nobody listens)

Goblin would be playable as: thief, fighter, maybe ranger.. no healing classes though. and berserks are far too burly, brutish types to appeal to a small little goblin ;p

Goblins are typically fairly strong and because they are small very fast. they are also known to be quite ugly and a little slow mental wise, so im with drac on this one.

In LOTR, Goblins were stupid, cave-dwelling creatures who lived for years and years, nurturing their hatred for elves. They weren't very strong but they had numbers on their side. Their technology was limited but you can assume that they have some kind of intelligence since they had to have somehow organized themselves (under a Chief/King) to "steal" the caves or even dig them for themselves.

The good people at Blizzard tell us that Goblins are short, stocky and quick-witted beings. They like to sit in the dark and just fiddle with any shiny trinket they can find.

In both versions, Goblins are seen as hideious creatures.

I agree with Drac's idea... Too bad it'll never happen. :P

The problem with suggesting races is that no matter how good they are, this game's staff will never take a players suggestion to a race or class.

Unfortunately, that is consistently worse than Halflings and Gnomes.

Rather than give actual stats, give basic guides on their strengths and weaknesses. For example, I see an individual Goblin as not particularly strong and somewhat dumb and ugly, yet fairly quick and probably quite tough (thick skin?).

Trouble is, Goblins are not exactly the most self-sufficient of races, relying mainly on safety in numbers (mentioned several times already), which is not very practical for players in Nightmist, especially for single-alt users.
