well i was just woundering....and wasnt sure where i should put this topic at lol so sry if its in the wrong place

is there a map that shows like pictures of nightmist(or what we think nightmist would like like?) not exactly a 3d model but like...2d or w/e...its hard to explain but i seen one a long time ago on someone site but they never finished it...well anyways just curious

maybe if someone is up to it they could make one? lol

Like a world map of the world but of nightmist, there used to be one of the simplier older nightmist before alot of maps came out, woodnt be hard to remake.

I believe that's the closest anyone has gotten. It's an obviously old map but I very much like it.

Hmm thats quite good but needs a newer one doing ;) Maybe a good artist could try it, and btw Squee, V for Vendetta rocked.

Best map around so far... we do need one available, especially for area developers so they know what's about.

The things I'm not sure on at the moment though is the position of Blackthorn... due to the land above it will have to be quite some distance east of Harabec, but the sewers don't reflect that in their length.

RH position is kinda confusing too, if you place out every map in game into 1 it would have to be below desert , as silversail beach is directly south and desert south east.

a nice world map would be good. Personally i think that blackthorn should be accessable over land as well as via the sewers.

Nah, its fun helping newbies get to Blackthorn (or just watching them fail). Plus it can help new players master the directional commands (by running from those nasty rats and leeches).

I think that people should not rely on maps too much. Most of the areas can be reached by running in one direction and crashing into walls until you get to your destination. Now if theres traps... all the better to learn the routes. In other words... wait that wasn't the question was it... >_<

I mean... Yeah, it would be cool to have a Two-Dimensional map of all Nightmist. I don't like Three-Dimensional maps personally, but it would be something to hang up on my wall and look at.

and ofc there is the spider nest tunnels loop..................

the fact is nightmist is NOT geometrically consistant. Most areas are reasonablly consistant in of themselves but the links between areas most certainly are not.

land routes should exist if only for completeness. That doesn't mean they have to be easier than sewers though (nightmist-arlin for example, the sewers route is far easier for newbies than the land route)

not bad, whats that thing to the west of the lost trail close to resthaven supposed to be though, i can't find it on the lost trail map i have.

an annotated copy would be nice too.............

I had meant it as halloween area (village and mountain castle).

i'm not sure putting stuff thats not actually in the game on the worldmap is such a good idea...........


Also you missed the area north of harabec (east of harabec is completely blocked off at least according to crane)

Thats awsume. What did you make it with?

Tho Mount Frostborn should curve round the west side of Natura. and you missed out Jahanna even tho its infested you should include it ^.^

Very nice map, Sleeping. I had always imagined Blackthorn to be somewhere East of Harabec, but that seems to work. One question... where's Resthaven exactly? I'm a but confused as to what is Resthaven and Mount Fenowasty, and what is Sighisoara and the Haunted Castle.

I was going to draw a world map of my own one day, but I'm worried about wars coming from conflicting ideas of geography.

Aww, nuts. I never figured Kantele was that close to Harabec. Well, the Entangled Overgrowth doesn't extend to the West that much, so the Great River could easily sweep North, around Kantele and the Dark Woods. That map is actually incredibly helpful - thank you Sergei.
