This has been brought up time and time again with the same responses. It will never happen.

1. Need a an item to level a zerk good luck.
2. Need antlers? 250k3. need boots of time or gloves of vigor? Better give that up.
4. Is there something we can come up with to make new and or returning starting over players able to tap inyo resources too?
B. Making the boss spawn more but drop the drop rate? Anything? A lot of us are older and just cant sit and check bosses all day like certain people. There has to be a way to fix a broken system witg 2-3 people that are bigger than everyone hoarding everything.
- Yep - zerk leveling items is a rough one; if you go back, you'll see everyone complaining about that. It is frustrating, but it does get accomplished. At least it is 4 or 5 different options now rather than only Blade of Time and Mithril Claws.
- Antlers - Gh'ul'arg is already level limited. Also, this is an hourly boss - it's in almost all the time. Can you kill it?
- Boots of Time - regularly in, and this is an /examine. Have you actually gone for them multiple times and not found?
- Have you tried contacting people? I've only been asked for rolls and handouts lately, not if prices could be negotiated or if I can help someone "new" get through a boss.
What I don't like is being asked to give stuff away. If I'm not being asked how to do something or for help doing it, I am unlikely to help.
Someone asked me for advice about training thieves at level 26+ earlier this week. I gave my input because optimization and game play are fun to discuss. I'm not trying to horde the game or knowledge - we update the Wiki all the time to help others play.
e.g. - If someone asks me to give them a Blade of Time or the sort? No. Flat no.
Ask me to show how to get through the area or to help them check a boss? Maybe.
Play the game, and look for people to play the game with or help you play the game better. I think you'll find people happy to do so, especially if you play even semi-regularly and want to team up for interesting bosses or trips.
However, don't ask me or others to play the game on behalf of you. And that's what it is to say that long-term players should stop hitting normal bosses or should give away the items - you're asking people to play for you, and that's not a fair request. We're playing a game, too.
Part B:
Level limits - I think it might be even more frustrating to find how many long-term players have strong low-level and mid-level parties that are used rather frequently, and competing with those would be rather difficult, I believe.
Guess it depends on what you're asking to have setup as level-limited. You mentioned one level limited area, but then went into items from the Blue Dragon (requires level 29+ to enter) and Chronos.
What kind of limits would you put on those previously end-game type areas?
More frequent boss spawns - That much I agree with doing. I don't see the point in keeping bosses as daily spawns, and I don't really think there would be a need to decrease the drop rates.
With the Gold Sovereign and Platinum Coin systems, there is still reason to do bosses even after you don't need the gear - so bosses do not become pointless unless you've got pretty top-tier equipment already. Thus, more drops just feeds into that process, rather than putting a glut into the system where Spider Gauntlets are filling vaults or the sort.

I also wouldnt mind seeing something put in place to possibly make higher-end bosses a little harder to check, like making the area log to local. There are currently players who have full parties set up 1 square away from high-end bosses to make farming them easier. It wouldnt be a bad thing to see an end to that.
Also, I think you misunderstood my intentions when the post was created. The great majority of our characters have no gear at all. Yes, we have been able to acquire a few items for a few of the characters, but the great majority is almost naked. One of those items we have acquired, for an example, is 5 Crystal Rings. It took several weeks just to get that count, and took us over a week to get just 1 because by the time we are able to log on someone has already logged on to kill the boss. It's the same thing with many others. It makes it near impossible to get any sort of items without finding someone who is willing to sell them, and a lot of the time its over-priced.
I'm not here to ask for hand outs of any sort as I'm perfectly fine with doing what's needed to get the item myself(at least currently since I'm under 30). My only issue is when I'm attempting to and cant find a single thing at all for long periods of time.
Also, to answer your question, I'm not sure if I am currently capable of killing the boss for Antlers. I honestly havent thought of attempting given I'm very limited on Druids.
