I got this off of the show Angel and figured I'd see what you people would come up with. Who would win in a fight? astronaughts or cave men? Neither have weapons, have fun!

Jesus would win. Or maybe Shaq.

But in the end, they can have juice, from juice boxes. All is well.

astronauts all the way. i know cavemen are good tool users and very tough but we forget that astronauts are treated like crap for a living. do you know the conditions they're forced to live in!? they're forced to sleep standing up like some sort of animal, conduct tests on rocks and dirt from earth, and eat dehydrated crap! what i'm saying is that these guys should be mad as hell. i do not envy astronauts.

wouldn't it be funny if rich had registered this name first, and you were bickering with him?

i concur
I believe in the Triune God;God the Father, the Son , and the Holy Spirit.I believe that while I was helpless and sinful, Christ died for me. Therefore, I now have the righteousness of God, old things have passed away and I am a child of God. I cannot be separated from the love of God, Christ lives in my heart by faith and therefore, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I have been chosen by God and appointed to bear fruit for God. I resist the devil and he flees from me.

Pssht, of course Jesus would win, that's a given, but I'm pretty sure that Jesus wasn't an astronaught, so Cavemen would totally win with their dinosaur fighting abilities.

Cave men don't have anything to lose, getting there face pounded in. So that's why I think they would own the wimpy astronauts with there fluffiness.

Seeing as astronauts are something from the 20th century and cavemen from the..uhh way back. Their IQ would be so low that they probably beat themselfs up.

So i'd say astronauts.

Are we missing a point here. Cavemen had to fight for their lives every single day, where as an astronauts just moose around in space.

Cave Men all the way!

EDIT:

You have any idea on what training they have to go through to become an astronaut? And brains beat muscles anytime...

Astronauts aren't several times bigger than cavemen.

I think your missing the point.. theres more to being an astronaut than you probably think. They are going to make sure you are fit and strong. Strong and intelligent astronauts VS stupid, slow, cavemen. Hmm...

Btw Deval, I expect that cave men probably had tactics for taking down dinosaurs... Tactics that wouldn't work against an intelligent human, because they act totally different.

Yeah, the directors told them how to do it :).
You have to forget about what other people say, when you're supposed to die, or when you're supposed to be loving. You have to forget about all these things. You have to go on and be crazy. Craziness is like heaven.

lmao It really isn't a joke, its just something people we're discussing/arguing about on Angel last night...I thought it would be fun to see what you people could come up with...in the beginning of the episode it was said that Angel and Spike we're arguing about it for about 14 minutes in his office. So keep it up, this is actually very interesting.

::sigh:: I wish I still watched Angel. Who on Angel chose cavemen and who chose astronauts?

Even though cavemen and dinosaurs didn't actually exist in the same time period, I still say the caveman would win. They had to survive in a harsh environment and would probably fight dirty and bite the astronauts and give them rabies or somthing.

Astronaughts would win.

Of course, I'm also assuming that the astronaughts have the home team advantage. Go team. :)

what if we trained the astrodudes in the same environment as cavemen? we could take them to the local zoo, put them in the dino pen for about a week or so, then force them to fight the cavepeople.

and where would the fight be? in space? in caves? in a kiddie pool?

......go space men

The fight would be in a Roman type open collisseum. If one doesn't kill the other in 15 minutes...they release lions...
