well i was on superbeast today and i notice that the viper claws had a chance of poison. i found out that he could inflict poison on someone only while he was not morphed, why is that? even if morphed he still using the same wep so psn should stay, just curious any remarks?

I believe it is essentially a bug that was decided not to be fixed because druids are powerful enough morphed anyway.
I think the staff need to discuss allowing poison damage again soon.

I would have thought if a druid is morphed it is using it's own claws or fangs or what have you and not the equiped weapon to hit which would explain why it doesn't poison.

well i was just thinking, say a dex mod is on from wep (viper claws), the mod still affects your hiting while morphed i guess a poison dmg should aswell i was under the impression that w/e you was wearing was basicly morphed into your animal aswell to affect abilitys, lol

Dont mean to bring up a really old post but I was wandering the same thing because a Hawk Talon has mana leech and it works when youre morphed (right?)

Maybe it does poison while morphed, try attacking someone of low lvl to you. The poison chance is only 20% so 1/5 stam should poison. But that still doesnt factor the opponent's ability to resist your poison. Im not sure which stat defends against it ( i think ive saw somewhere constitution.) so find someone with low con and test on them for awhile.
