That is with 22 int. You must remember when using an Elf in the forest they get an extra damage bonus.

You said that at arch mages can ALMOST hit 100 damage, and have 5 stam. You have to include the many fizzles and resist to. Now, I have a zerker that can zerk for 80-90 at lvl 22 with a pike. If I got a halberd on him I could zerk for 100 10 levels lower than. Can you still say that mages are NOT underpowered?

Can zerkers invis?
Can they cast a spell to increase their stam regain?
Can they give themselves extra armor?
Zerkers also end up killing themselves, where as a Mage won't.

Also a bunny has no wisdom, zerks can hit 100+ on 100ac. The only think zerks need is 5 stamina I think. Then fighters would be original again.
Yet mages are underpowerd, I agree.

takes alot of mana to do spells, low hps, semi-agile, fizzles
they should be able to summon "thunder" which work as "smite" but only when it rains outside of towns (excluding undergrounds)

Mages also need a lower mana cost of spells, maybe make haste regain all 5 stamina. Just don't make then any easier to train, but atleast help them reap the rewards at level 30.

Other than invis....I've got no use for my mage, it is master, it will never be arched...not because i don't like it or anything, they just really are that useless. You use them to invis...other than that there isn't much to do with them...really a class shouldn't be quite that useless..even if it's one use is a good one.
Then again, i own no zerkers whatsoever, gave away my last one (expert 4 stat dwarf)...i dislike them that much. They're overpowered when spelled and all..but i just hate using them. 0 ac is annoying when i boss a lot, as is hurting the crit while attacking. Soloing bosses that I do would be practically impossible with the ammount of crits i take to them...then again...i haven't been on one of my boss trips in a good while now...i should start that nuts up again..kept the game entertaining.

1. zerkers dont need to invis, they click just about everythingBut zerkers are a completely different class.
Can zerkers invis?
Can they cast a spell to increase their stam regain?
Can they give themselves extra armor?
Zerkers also end up killing themselves, where as a Mage won't.
2. they dont need a spell to increase their stamina regen, they already get the 4th for free
i see people beaming bunny's for 90's. nothing big. go to desert and start beaming away. my fighters can hit 80's on spiders spelled up. mages cant get spelled up, mages have to attack solely by their own powers.
