No Android version? :)

That does look pretty good, well done for publishing a successful app store game.

I don't think Nightmist with all its typing is really suited to phones and tablets, but perhaps some subset of the game is possible to spin off.

I have some ideas and my work contract finishes today, so I'll have some time off to think.

While it might be hard to get exactly nightmist on a tablet a text based game would fit well. Movement buttons and macro / spell buttons are really all that would be needed. I actually have a client demo that works pretty well. As for android I don't see why not I just don't know android so I wouldn't be able to create a client for that part right off the bat. Anyways if you are really interested and willing to work with someone let me know. Higginsran@gmail.com

Found this a few days ago on the rok forums. For those of you looking for a web based mud like nightmist and rok but with an active dev http://domdaria.com/ has a pretty cool and upcoming one. its just in beta but looks pretty cool already.

I gave this a try and was actually impressed. Even though it's still in the beta stages, I really enjoyed being able to play a web-based MUD that seemed to have a lot to look forward to. I remember helping out on a web-based MUD a few years back; I believe Rob (PureMourning) was part of that as well.

One of the features I really liked was the "spotlight" effect of mobs. You can see the directions on the mini-map that your character can look as well as mobs on those squares (you just see that there is one, not specifically what they are). However, further away, you cannot see them.

I suggest checking it out! Great find, Element!

there is alot of ways you could get yourself backed pandilex there is a massive hole in the market for a good mud and story telling look at some of the games that have been released on steam with greenlight  or use kickstarter then try and figure out a way to enable some way of selling items/flare items in the game to keep it going/advertise or buying the ip itself of jlh witch i doupt he would ever sell because tbh nightmist is a genius idea.
