Why not? If you read through this post and the few others there are about football you will find that all the Falcons fans are saying the wins are a result of him. I understand the team lacks in a few areas. I also know that Mike hasn't produced the way he should for a 100 million dollar QB. As I said many times before and i will say again. He is over rated. Not worth half the money he is payed. But Arthur Blank's got it like that. As new owner he made the decision to put all his eggs in one basket. I bet ya anything no other QB or player will get a contract like that again until he has proven himself. Mike should concider himself the luckiest football player to play the game.

Any other team woulda given him a 2-3 year contract and maybe offered him 1-2 million a year. THEN once he had proven himself he woulda been able to sign the big contract. Blank didn't become a millionaire making the same mistakes twice. Don't count on him to make this one again.

Another news flash. If Mike produces like he did this year DO NOT look for him to be in Atlanta for more then 2 more playing seasons.
