Is any one else having issues with examine on Main?

I have tried several locations and the message comes up saying i found something (EG mansion Key) - but then the actuall item isn’t there?

Same every where - it shows like you have found something but the item doesn’t appear?

Made some areas impossible (IE i had to leave the mansion without getting where i needed to go because keys were not available)

Any one else seen this?

IE:

Destroyed Mountain Path: The path from here on has been destroyed, you cannot go any further. The path returns East.
A Harpy, Ettin, Mountain Troll are here with you.
Mountain Troll: Ugh!
You find a discarded Pickaxe.
Destroyed Mountain Path: The ridge from here onwards has been demolished, cutting off any access to the mountains ahead and whatever lies beyond them. Examining the rocks at the edge, you notice indentations that appear to have been formed by Dwarven pickaxes. The path returns East.
A Harpy, Ettin, Mountain Troll are here with you. - No Axe?!

To add to this, any thing you drop on the floor also vanishes!

I have just lost a spyglass passing between my pacifist and my Druid....

Can some one get this back for me, the crit that dropped it was Xplosiv - he was in the pub in Tirentek...

If it helps - it seems to only affect items that were not already on the floor...

So i pick up a torch, and can drop it again no probs and it ends up available to pick up- but the mana crystal i had in my inventory vanishes!

How come 1-alt doesn't seem to suffer from this problem?

lol if it is the number of items i may have triggered it - i was swopping the items about just after i got destroyed by the drider scout and dropped about 150 mana crystals

well this explains why someone bought my drow artifact for 400k.

can we get this fixed? i just noticed the examine and dropped items disappearing on certain squares.

it looks like it was fixed, I examined and picked up a Temple Key.

Thats what fixed it last time this exact thing happened, grids needed to be wiped like RJ said. I don't havfe msn anymore.. does anyone here have JLH on msn and can pass on the message to have him reboot(and also mention lew's spyglass) if they haven't already. I'm sure he will reboot/fix it when he gets time.

I try to do my part and use low lvl thief mana holders and /destroy all random small eq laying around the realm(but I leave people's mana piles intact as they were when I saw them) so we dont get cluttered as fast.

Thanks JLH for attending to this, we noticed the server was restarted last night.
