Just wondering what everyone else thinks...

I remember ages ago, once in a blue moon a staff member would run a russian roulette and it would be talked about for days after, was fun... But now one gets run every week - do you think the roulette has lost its 'novelty' so to speak? It's a nice event n' all, just not as good as it used to be. Also, it must be getting hard (from a staff members prospective) to hit people with funny stuff over and over again, because I know some people join the roulette every week - so it must get difficult / boring sometimes...

Maybe, if people just want an event run on Wednesday nights then put one of the many new suggested events into a Wednesday night - such as Junior Triplex or something... Again, just a thought.

People wanted to do it more often, so it was chosen as a weekly event. There are still events that are not run often, such as the hide and seek, the tagged by a staffer thing, and the races around Nightmist, trivia, pacifist moshes. There are still things that are not done often.

I quite like snipe hunts, but ya RR is slowly loosen is zang, maybe make it once a fortnight or once a month instead of weekly?

Edit: /t Eamon, I am not complaining that there are not enough events that are done often - all I am saying is that the RR used to be one of these and it has slowly (due to constant use) lost its novelty / zang... Maybe make it once a fortnight or something; like Jai suggested. It can be done more often, just not 4 times a month...

I must say that I did not run this event due to scheduling, but because some players paged me asking if I would run one. Perhaps the ones that wished it in the middle of the day unscheduled are not able to be on during the regular running time. I understand that to some people events that are run often lose their zeal, only thing that I can suggest is that when it is run too often for your taste, don't join all the time.

Well that could take away from the fun for the Staffers...but I've been in one where Amy lets you choose your death...that was really fun!

If you can't choose your own death, I think it's really fun to join with a different ALT each time. That should rememdy some of the problems you think the staff might have. Plus, you get good profile fodder
