^_^

Couldn't there be some sort of "tabs" system instead of having tons of different windows? Anyone who has used Firefox will know what I'm talking about. Since alts are encouraged in NM it would help... alot...

To the point, support or don't support. :P

EDIT: And people used to alt+esc can just use ctrl+tab to switch instantly...

It seems like it would get really awkward switching screens.

?

Just press ctrl-tab. Or click the image of the thing. It's just like them being in the toolbar except they're a part of the NM client.

Some people have ways of switching from alt-alt very fast that others do not know about, and I'm sure this would ruin it.
Also, think about people that use 20+ alts, it would just crowd the current NM client.

Not supported.

Been suggested time and time again, its clearly been stated that it isn't happening.

i suggested this ages ago and think it would be awesome for filtering chatter and events, but whatever. seriously all the crap we can have on screen is silly, and tabs would render that buffer-pause thing obsolete.

Not supported. It's hard to balance it right but I for one wouldn't say my efforts into the game have been to 'encourage alts'.

I'm saying I don't wish to encourage alts and I don't support this idea sorry.

i support it only becuz of the fact of i dont have windows up, but ima be honest, i wouldnt use it, as som1 said, there are other ways of swithing between screens, like my keyboard lets me go forward, or backwards(like alt+esc) between windows, but it lags like a bish, and i dont even use it unless im training.

ive heard of som1's keyboard allowing him 2 click on all alts at the same time on 1 monster/player, kinda like making all his alts attacking at the same time.

ah the intelligence of combusta, the envy of all nightmist players...

I've seen someone run not a particularly big screen in a resolution that allows 4 complete Nightmist windows on it. A 1/4 of the screen each. But I really struggled to read the text.

screen res of 1600 x 1200 would do that
normal monitors of 17" or above sometimes do that. 19" ones pretty much all do
although to get a TFT of that kind of resolution would be very expensive (rare 19" screens, most 20" and above), wouldn't mind a few though.

I originally suggested this, and even started coding it. But i ended up finding no real need for it as Windows has all the shortcuts you need! (alt+esc)(alt+tab) learn to cope :-)
