not sure if its just me, but whenever I use the /web function its very slow.. is there any way of changing this? my internet is fine, everything else comes up at normal speed, but whenever i go onto experience charts, or something like that it takes forever.

also, if this is not fixable, will a client-based way of buying items of the net possible?


e.g. (not sure of the actual way of doing it, if you will have to use your password or what.. but..)

or something like this? second part is all a bit iffy really, because im not sure if each item is given a code or what, but it would make life a lot easier and less laggy if this was possible? (i have no idea how much coding would be needed to do this btw, so if i am asking too much i apologise lol)

It's very slow for me too, Althoguh i was just thinking the same idea.
I think it will be a great way of buying.

Yeah, it's always been slow for me as well. This would make things a ton easier, just not really sure if it can be done. Can hope though.

/web has always worked fairly well for me, though it may not be as fast as a normal explorer browser...

I would be kind of suprised if /webbuy would be at all simple to code, but it could be possible, since there is /showsite.

what internet explorer are u using try to upgrade it i had the same problem until i upgraded

*nods* When I upgraded my IE, the /web feature was a lot faster.

As for a way to buy items directly in game, without using the /web feature at all..
I do support this if it is not difficult to code.
As Gaddy said, /showsite is possible.. So maybe it wouldn't be hard to implement.
It's not really a lazy way of doing it either...
Especially for those who have the site load slow using /web
(that is if upgrading IE doesn't fix that for them)
It is a convenience, but I don't see it as lazy in the least.

I guess a question I have is.. Is it just the /web that is slow ?
Or is the Nightmist site slow in a normal IE window as well ?
Because if that's the case, then definitely update your IE.

I use Mozilla instead of IE, so mine is never updated - i'll update it and then edit this post haha, cheers

the /web screen is just internet explorer and so should be identical

i for one, and many other players of NM use mozilla firefox as a browser, so internet explorer is left out of date.

fixed the slowness problem by updating it -- and also found out that its good to keep it updated, as many viruses / stuff like that use internet explorer to get into your system, its good to have it updated.

Then use foxfire by doing /forum instead of /web?

if you do /forum ingame, it still comes up with IE. even if mozilla firefox is set to be your default browser.
