Yeah... I don't have the best experience or knowledge when it comes to Mages, but is anyone willing to post what equips would suit a mage best at level 26?
SouthPark is a Male Elf Expert Mage. He looks normal, very wise, fast, and very sexy. In one hand he holds a Silver Staff, the other a Fire Bands. He is wearing a Silver Robes, and a Circlet protects his head. Around his neck sits an Aegis Amulet. He has a Friendship Bracelet and a Friendship Bracelet around his wrists. He is wearing a Ring of Windia, and Tomb Gloves on his hands. His feet are protected by Ravenbone Boots. He is a Founder (-·´¯`·.·» §êçrêt Kíllêñ Kídz «·.·´¯`·-) of Attitude and he is in a healthy condition.
What rings, amulet, boots, and gloves? (If I can only get them in future levels, tell me)
Not looking for bracelets atm, and I believe I have best as far as weapon and armor set.
Thanks.

Get some wooden bracers.
at arch I'ld go
hades ammy = increased armor
Vindicators Boot's = increased armor, where as bot's decrease dex

Vindicator's Boots = 5 armor
Boots of Time = 6
Spider Gaunts fix dex, and you get the point of wisdom to defend from mages.

Surely it's weighing up the odds? You're much more likely to come into contact with a character that'll hit you, making the extra dex worth more than 1 more ac?
But I do see where you're coming from Eamon, and you probably know better than I

Probably going with what Paul said.
And Lowmion, Fire Bands are same as Wooden Bracers.

*nods his head in agreement with Mike*
Vindicator's boots are 4ac, not 5. My bad.
I was talking about equips for events/moshes. When youre out of town training, it is normally better to have the added dex, in case someone comes along to try to pk.

the 1 dex outweighs ac points for boots of time, never use them on a mage
wisdom only affects things like druid spell damage- intelligence affects your fizzle rate / how often you counterspell or resist. Not wisdom.
You want to have your intelligence and your dexterity as high as possible. An assassinate or smite is what's going to kill a mage that has AoP up, not a regular attack. The extra dex is key for that.
