when I was at school our local area had a schools lacross league, and we had some decent players . . .Only UK people to know about lacrosse are those of us who have watched American Pie I'd wager.
I actually thought Lacross was reasonably well known

I didn't get to see any of the Sweden - Denmark game though, damn bastards on channels 1-4 were showing the Italy - Bulgaria one instead. I bet the Sweden game would have been much more interesting to watch

Anyway, soccer, for us, is really common. It isn't the main sport in most places, but I think everywhere I've been has had a league for whatever age I was...and it is a highschool sport for most schools.
As a note- there is an american football league in Europe, they play baseball hardcore in central america and in Japan...basketball, I think they play a few places overseas.
I only like basketball and soccer when playing really. Football is pretty boring, they make it look like it hurts or something, b.s. there are way too many pads in that dumbass game. Baseball...I'm not even going to start....ba
Anyway, we still kicked the crap out of Portugal in the World Cup ;p (and don't give me that 'fluke' stuff, we all know the US team sucks so don't try to start, besides, we're closer to Brazil and they own everyone else enough for that to make up for us anyway)

Rugby is pretty much the same as american football but no padding, just shin guards and a mouth piece and is a rough tough gameFootball is pretty boring, they make it look like it hurts or something, b.s. there are way too many pads in that dumbass game. Baseball...I'm not even going to start....ba
