Area should be north from clearing close to harabec. It will have roughly a large 20 x 20 square area on the top level, and an underground network of disused tunnels. There is also a long hidden path, leading to a castle which has three floors.

(No level restrictions on top level)

General Story - The area will be accessed through a stone archway, which is an ancient portal designed to transport matter across the earth. Five high wizards of the old council(consisting of 12 immortal wizards) used this portal to escape the eyes of there brothers and sisters to practice there dark magics. Eventually the wizards were discovered and the council sent an army of brave fighters through the portal to destroy the wizards.

Upon arriving, Arthas(Will be the leader of the Army) and his brave soldiers fought there way through the waves of enemy creations, eventually reaching the wizards castle. Upon arriving, Arthas and his soldiers charged the castle, only to be repelled by a wall of unholy fire. He returned back through the portal, leaving his soldiers behind, with the intent to request the councils magic to stem the fire and allow his troops to pass. When he returned with the council, the portal had vanished. After much deliberation, and many years passing, the council erased all memory of the renegade wizards, and the lost men, hoping to put this behind them. 200 years later, and after the demise of the council and the rebirth of a new world, a mysterious stone archway has once again appeared.

This is going to be a very magical area, with magical based monsters and the like ;P

NPC Camp. (An old camp set up by the soldiers that originally arrived). Has a potion shop and a bank, selling adv healing and lodes at 500 each.

Monsters - Battlefield

Flame Pygmie - 30-40 damage, 2-3 hits(Like RF) within 10 seconds. Low exp and Low gold. (10% chance to drop firebomb)

The Flame Pygmies eyes are a deep ebony, while its claws are sharp as a razor, it does not move to attack you directly.

Flame Pygmie : Cak Cak, BURNZ!.

Flame Pygmie : Boom Boom Big Bada Boom.

Apprentice Ice Witch - (Like mosquito's basically, but with lower pod)

A female figure of ice, this Witch is not to be taken lightly!

Doesnt speak

Conjured Mist Spirit - 120-150 damage, 1 hit every 5-6 seconds. 1hp (Pretty dodgy) No gold

A lose formation of steam, the mist spirit whisps and bends around the battlefield.

Doesnt Speak

Earth Goliath - 80 damage, hits like a scorpion with around 4000 health. Doesnt dodge, ever. No exp, but KTP. Only a few of these, but they move around the battlefield randomly. 500 gold

A giant formation of rock and soil, this creatures slowly shifts around the battlefield looking for things to crush.

Earth Goliath : Me smash, Me bash.

Farsight Commander - Leader Unit, 50-60 damage, 2-3 hits every 10 seconds. randomly spawns up to three random monsters from the list above, not earth goliaths though. around 8000 hp. Drops tunnel key.(Gives access to tunnels).

Underneath Farsight Commanders position is a hidden entrance to tunnels underneath. Long since abandoned, nothing in here but Iron Doors (8000 hp).And traps (30 damage per movement, roof partially collapses) Also a couple of examines in rooms dotted about inside, giving Ice Ore, Fire Ore, Earth Ore, Air Ore. These Ore's can be crafted with certain weapons to create. (One ore + Item =)

Fire Dagger/Sword/Staff/Bow/Cudgel (depending on the item)

We will take Fire Dagger as an example.

Katana + Fire Ore.

Library info for Fire Dagger

The only thing that draws your eye is a slight red glow along the blade., Level needed to equip it: 25, Magical: No, Vamparic: No, Armor: 0, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Poison chance: 0, Poison/30s damage: 0, Monster damage table: Any Fire Monster x 2, Mana leech: .

Fire dagger would do double damage to fire elemental monsters.

List of exchangable items.

Katana - Dagger

Justice Blade - Sword

Staff of Elements - Staff

Leather Bound Bow - Bow

Warhammer - Cudgel

Each will do varying damages, but id have to work out each one individually with the class.

Let me know what you think, and ill write the pathway and the castle later :P

All the monsters on the way to, and inside the castle, will be one of those four elements. The final bosses (The 5 wizards) are 1 of each element, and the last final boss being neutral.

Oh yeh, my first attempt at this so be nice ;P

Nice background, cool mob names. Good way to approach drops, doesn't have to be overpowered, but nonetheless powerful when used right/in the right area. Not sure about the stats, as katana is 20bd, if this is 16bd, with a monster table of x2, would mean they get almost double the exp they normally would. Although you can counter that with making the mobs have a low pod (not just the fire one but all that have a damage table).

But could look at it in another way, making the weapons relatively cheap, and actually forcing people to use those elemental weapons (by making the mobs only attackable by the use of those weapons). Then you can have a party that is split 4 ways, each quarter of the party wielding a different elemental weapon type. Or a smaller party being forced to carry multiple weapons with them, to be as efficient as possible.

^He only /library'd the thief dagger, but if you read down you notice he thought about the others as well.

Not to keen on you posting more tho, it's a nice read, but I dislike adding anything that's been extensively displayed on forum.

Oh and the area isnt thief specific, i only used Fire Dagger as an example of one weapon. There would be elemental weapons available for all classes.
