Hey, just curious as to why the level requirement is lvl 31? It seems strange to get to lvl 30, then use Blade of Time or equivalent for one level, then swap out to the hammer at lvl 31, and given the cost of 12 Gold Sovereigns it's expensive. It would be nice if it was lvl 30 requirement.

The weapon was originally designed as a replacement for the Blade of Time etc. when you're forced to sacrifice it to level up.

Hey bumping this thread, I think that making the Maelstrom Hammer magical would be a huge improvement to the item, currently it cannot attack things  like the Stone Sentinel or Temple Guardian which is really a shame as it makes the item quite useless, I mean if a zerk can attack these things and even Crystal Giant after lvl 31, is that really game breaking? hell no in my opinion.. I just think this would be a great improvement that the current main playerbase (small as it is) would love, you'd be a hero in their eyes.
