I know because im making this post, itll get flamed... which is fine. but ive been using this item for a while now... and been comparing to the other training weapons.... its the weakest.

it needs an increase of about 2-3 base damage to be anywhere near effective. even at 22 base damage it would still be a weaker training item. but maybe slightly more useful?

Is it weak because it has the lowest base damage of all the training weapons, or because of the lack of targets that it can be used against?

I'm wary about making the base damage too high and hence better than any other weapon available - it is meant to be just a Morning Star but with two damage modifiers (although Mages can use it).

its weak because of the low base damage.

it's okay for a class like druid which has a damage increase cause of morph however all other stock classes take a damage loss cause of it.

like I said, the stave needs about a 2-3 base damage increase to match up to the other weapons. nothing unrealistic.

I can post up a few rounds of hits with it if you would like.
