Okay, I'll try to explain this the best I can. Than add a picture at the end to show what it looks like. A few images of items are showing a DL and than a down arrow. I'm guessing something to do with Download. But ! I have the latest version, so I don't believe it is that... This game version is 2.53.3.

I think it's just newly pictured images. Such as the Ring of Hatred, which is the one that's irking me. Because I enjoyed the picture.

So anyway, this is the picture that comes up instead of the image...



Hmm, didn't there use to be an Update Images option O_o That's another thing I was curious about. Hmm. I'll shush now ...

Just checked my ROH set and i have the same picture replace the quality one i had before :/

the client has always downloaded pictures as needed
the previous method was to stop the game, download the pic, then display it and resume the game
meaning if you see a new pic, your crit stops and could be killed, while your pc downloads a file

the new system has pic downloading going at the same time as the game, so that DL is the temporary image to let you know it is downloading

That makes sense. Heh. I like the idea of the update ^^ But mines been doing this for 2 days. And I've been online for at least an hour - 2 hours at one single time.

restart nm, maybe it got stuck somehow

edit: i've noticed a small bug which may cause it to get stuck, i've released a new /version=2.53.4 which sorts it out.

I updated to the newest version now and my Ring of Hatred has a picture again !
