ok i tried everything in the faq.. didnt work
this is what i did do to fix the problem
control panel ,regional settings, the go into the advanced tab and change the language for non unicode programs to englishh usa...
since mine was set to hebrew

You have to change the regional setting, but change both Advanced AND Basic (or whatever the first tap is named in English-version Control Panel). I didn't know that and that's the reason why NM rotted in my harddrive for 3 months.... lol.
... It always takes me quite a bit of time to restart the computer in English setting, though ... bit troublesome.
If that doesn't work, probably it's your computer's problem or something o__O; Good luck =D.
