Ok i brought a new laptop and well i used a router to connect to my original cable modem well i did that and
when i installed the night mist on my lap top it say a error messege and this is what it says please if you
know what i have to do tell me thank you very much.

An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file:
I/O error 32
Click tetry to try again, ignore to skip this fiel (not recommended), or abort to cancel installation.
Even though i skip it it goes through and everything but when its all done with the setup i go to open
and connect and it says this message Server could not be found, Try clicking 'alternate DNS/Port'
on the options menu,
or try again shortly and even though i do click alternate DNS/Port it says the same message.

EDIT: Didn't see this was to do with Nightmist. Should have read the full post. :x That probably won't help then. Try reinstalling.

if you can't connect, please follow the advice given in the FAQ on the help menu of the website.

i'm having the same problem.. only mine won't let me skip it.. as soon as that box comes up the whole installation dissapears...

and all i want to do is check my memo's..

Meew, when it says "click on alternate DNS/Port" just go to where it says options on your log-in screen and put a check next to Alternate DNS, not both. It should just let you right in. I have that problem from time to time and I just do that. Lets me right in on next try. But you will have to uncheck it after you log off as it doesn't always work continuously.

You could try installing it in safe mode

I have edited the installer so that if it can't replace that file, it will ask you to restart so it can
please redownload the game and reinstall
