Achilles raises seven fingers, and seven jets of flame spring from the ground, burning you horribly for 70 points of damage.
Basically it's a spell between Beam and Devastate in terms of damage, costing 15 mana to cast, available at level 35.

Why seven jets of fire?
I dare say, with my experience, Beam is more than enough to round poor, helpless players! In my honest opinion, I feel it is not Mages that need improvement right now.

Mages do really need a pick-me-up with NOPK and levels 31+...or at least it appears that way right now.
However, I'd rather see it adjusted via making a beam like spell that is simply more level based that costs less mana---down to around 8-10 or so.
Something like level 33 req. Level * 2 + int * 2 + rnd(1)*5
...would yield around 125 damage on Bunnies---obviously pretty extensive balancing would need to be done. It is hard to tell exactly how much of designed damage goes through for mages due to wisdom on monsters actually changing things quite a bit.

surely thats 66+46+5 = 117 max?
However, I very much agree with making it more level based. And maybe make int-mods more valuable by doing something like this:
Level*3 + Int*4 + Rnd(1)*10 - 85
99 + 92 + 10 - 85 = 116 max at lvl 33
120 + 92 + 10 - 85 = 137 max at lvl 40
nb. all damages worked out using 23 int mage
hehe 137 damage... x7 = 950 or something lol
sounds good
edit: obviously wouldnt hit 950 on players due to wisdom

By the way, I'm talking about Nightmist every time I post.
One-alt stuff is not something I concern myself with when thinking of balancing anymore.
To me, mages, paladins, and fighters need a bit more flare with the level cap upped and NOPK...but then, the endless cycle of improving classes...
