This is my basic idea and I havent thought of a storyline for it but when I do I will post it.

Level 24 and lower. No Class Limit.

First Square – You walk onto a small path that leads of the main road that winds into a small wooded area. Foliage is all around and it is hard to see much ahead of you. You may go back north to the main path or venture south into the Dank Wood.

Dank Wood – Walking through the Dank Wood you get an eerie sense that something is around the next bend. You proceed with caution because who knows what could be lurking in this forgotten wood.

Canopy – Stepping carefully, you walk along the branches of these tall trees looking for something important. You can hear the shriek of birds and monkeys all around.

Canopy square that leads up to Colossal Falcon – (doesn’t show that it leads up) As you step on this branch you hear a very loud deeper shriek that seems to be coming from above you. There is also a strong branch above you that could hold your weight to get up to find out what is making this terrible noise, if only you had something to throw up and hook to it. You may step carefully to the west.

When you get to the top of the trees the grappling hook falls from the branch and you hear a distant thud as it hits the forest floor. Another shriek grabs your attention from the falling hook and as you turn you see a massive falcon.

Monsters:

Dank Wood-
Wild Troll - similar to brown bear
Elven Ranger – drops long bow
Ogre
Wild Boar – similar to black bear

Canopy-
Falcon – something like giant bat with less damage and lower dexterity
Screeching Monkey – similar to small snake
Orangatan – similar to mutant beetle

Treetop-
Colossal Falcon – similar to bandit leader - drops Falcon Tail Feather/Falcon Beak/Falcon Talon (hour spawn)

NPC - Old Elven Hunter –
1. Give Long Bow and 3 Falcon Tail Feathers for Raptor Bow
2. Give Falcon Beak for Raptor mask
3. Give Falcon Talon and Spear for Raptor Spear
4. Give Falcon Talon for Raptor Talisman

Items Crafted by Old Elven Hunter -

Raptor Bow – BD 20 – lvl 23 – Rangers - The bow looks as though it is a simple longbow but the arrows look very exquisite and as if they could penetrate any armor. The tails of the arrows are made of magnificent falcon feathers that gleam in the sunlight.

Raptor Mask – Armor 5 – lvl 24 – Druids/Rangers – The mask is a very protective helmet due to the strength of the falcon’s beak. The mask is also very sleek and aggressive.

Raptor Spear – BD 25 – lvl 23 – Fighters/Berserkers/Palidan – Made from a normal looking spear and a talon from a magnificent raptor this spear is made for piercing almost any armor and injuring anything you thrust it at.

Raptor Talisman – Armor 4 – lvl 24 – All Classes – This Amulet is made from a basic vine that binds a fierce talon to the neck of the wearer. The talon has been polished to a black sheen that glistens and scares off small animals.

Thats what I have so far. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated. And a thank you to Katja for helping me think of some ideas and descriptions .

I like the general idea, but I'd need to see some justification on the item choices before proceeding.

Also, it seems like there are a lot of creatures for a small area that serve little or no purpose other than being alternate things to kill. If we're going to go through the effort of building them, we'd need to know what makes them interesting/different.

The area descriptions would need some more detail, including a basic entry and a look-around for each.
