Okay, I'm in a dilemma. When should Smite be used and when should Berserk be used for a mid-level (level 15) Berserker?

It all really depends. Beserk gives you lots of chances to hit, but costs more in HP;Smite is obviously a 'hit or miss' attack, but costs less.

Personally, at that level, I'd be using Beserk with a cleric in the swamps.

I on the otherhand would be using Smite in the swamps because although it only has one attack, u probably are gonna gain exp a little bit faster because u will hit harder. But then again, I haven't trained all that many zerkers in the swamps but the zerks that I am training right now work better with Smite because they are such low level and Berserk misses so damn much you as well just use smite since I believe that you have a better chance to hit.

I spell up and zerk in swamps... best way i think... big hits and good exp...

Berserk hits less and you get a big hit with smite anyway in the swamp.

I have 5 berserkers that I 'power zerk' up in the swamp that are now all level 13, smite is better.

If you are a high level and have alot of hp then berserk is your best choice, because berserk hits harder and the hp penalty isn't so severe. When you're REALLY low level, like level 5 and below, you should use normal attack. When you're about in the middle, smite is probably the best choice, though it comes pretty close. IF you are trying to pk someone and trying to round them, definetely use berserk.

Berserk is better when you have a human of half-elf berserker, because the dexerity can be higher so you hit more.

If your main goal is to hit hard and to have fun, than spell up your zerker and do rage, with RF you'll hit more, maybe making up for the lost dexerity, and gain a massive amount of strength.



I don't usually use berserkers, though, I could be incorrect at many of that. Just things that seems like good sense to me.

If you're training solo, use attack. IF with a cleric, use smite until you get to level 18, then you should start with berserk. (You need a cleric at all times)

i use smite in the swamps b/c it takes alot more off and gain exp faster + lose less hp

i have tried attack, berserk and smite on 4 zerkers i took with me to desert. the one that used berserk leveled the fastest

I smite in swamps, but zerk in everywhere else (aka desert/zeum).

lvls 1 - 14 hit regularly, from 14 - 21 smite in the swamps from 21 - 30 berserk

this process will ensure the berserker id trained right and that he will before good at arch.

I don't think you have the right to be calling anyone immature.

And I don't even know you ingame let alone talked to you so you can stfu right there.

And I don't have the right to flame you? Last time I checked I was entitled to my own opinion but I guess your "immaturity" changes the laws as you see fit. And the question was answered 6 months ago so I pretty much think it's been trained by now.
