So this year, I want to give players a chance of some input.  I want to see what you come up with for Christmas quest items!  Rules are simple:

 

- Post a name, type (shield, weapon etc.) and description

 

You can give possible stats, but it would be easiest and safest for it to be equivalent to an existing item (say which item it is).  I probably won't use the stats given as is.

 

I can't say if your item will make it into the game, but I want to see what you guys come up with.

Scutum - The convex surface of this massive shield measures two and a half feet in width and four feet in length. The outer surface is covered first with canvas and then with calf-skin. Its upper and lower rims are strengthened by an iron edging which protects it from descending blows and from injury when rested on the ground. It also has an iron shield boss fixed to it which turns aside the most formidable blows of stones, pikes, and heavy missiles in general. As you done this particular shield, you can feel a great power swell, almost as if the shield is imbued with the strength of all those who wielded it before you.

Cozy Mittens:

 

Armor base: 6, Can be worn by: clerics, druids, fighters, mages, paladins, rangers, thieves, Description: These red, fluffy mittens look oh so adorable on your hands.  While they are not only quite warm and comfortable, you feel as though they are also very easy to move your fingers in, while also being durable., Level needed to equip it: 30, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 1, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 1, Absorb spell: 0, Max equip: 1.

 

Santa's Gloves downgrade. Armor could even be lowered as well or dex removed so these could drop at a higher rate than the Santa's Gloves did to give a char glove option for clerics.

 

Christmas Wrappings:

 

Armor base: 3, Can be worn by: mages, Description: These Christmas Wrappings appear to have been strung together from brightly colored wrapping paper! There seems to be some magic within the wrappings themselves that give these gloves a light, magical glow., Level needed to equip it: 10, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 1, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Absorb spell: 0, Max equip: 0.

 

Witches Gloves side-grade only usable by mages. Could also add Char for the pretty wrappings, and add clerics to the class table, and have this work as a mix between the above 2 gloves.

 

Knit Stockings:

 

Armor base: 1, Can be worn by: clerics, druids, fighters, mages, paladins, rangers, thieves, Description: These knitted stockings are clearly handmade. What they may lack in both durability and perfect stitching, they make up for with their lightweight feel. Someone clearly made these with a lot of care and love. Level needed to equip it: 29, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 1, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 1, Absorb spell: 0, Max equip: 0.

 

Santa's Boots rework with a higher required level. Could just be a complete remake of the boots if the char is removed and level brought back down to 17. Description could be changed to reflect the char stat more, if kept, but I went with char being from a place of love and good feeling instead of prettiness =p

 

Christmas Ribbon:

 

Armor base: 0, Can be worn by: clerics, druids, mages, paladins, Description: This bright green ribbon seems different than any ribbon you've ever seen. Something compels you to want to wear this ribbon your head! Level needed to equip it: 32, Strength modifier: 0, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 0, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 1, Charisma modifier: 0, Absorb spell: 0, Max equip: 1.

The Menacles have a permanent red glow and they are seriously hot to touch. Some say they carry the Soul of Krampus himself and when swung you can hear the screams of burning Children. , Level needed to equip it: 10, Magical: Yes, Vamparic: 0.3, Armor: 0, Strength modifier: 1, Intelligence modifier: 0, Dexterity modifier: 1, Constitution modifier: 0, Wisdom modifier: 0, Charisma modifier: 0, Burn chance: 0.2, Poison/30s damage: 100, Monster damage table: , Mana leech: .
