Pretty simple - the more hungry you get, the more appropriate the message becomes to your condition (grammar? lol).

0 hp loss - You feel hungry.
1-5 hp loss - Your hunger starts to sap your strength.
6-15 hp loss - Pangs of hunger cause you to weaken by the minute. You must find food fast!
16-30 hp loss - Hallucinations caused by extreme hunger flicker through your vision.
31-70 hp loss - You struggle to stand - your starvation has left no strength in your legs.
71+ hp loss - You are in agonising pain as your stomach digests itself. Death would be a welcoming respite from the torment you find yourself in.

Probably if you are on an alt you would see the following:

(0-5) Raylen feels hungry.
(6-15) Raylen feels very hungry.
(16-30) Raylen feels extremely hungry.
(31-70) Raylen is starving to death.
(71+) Raylen is writhing on the floor in agony, as his stomach digests itself.

Obviously you wouldn't suffer 71+ damage from hunger very often, as you'd already have died. But it's nice to be creative every now and then ;)

How come you can eat and eat and eat, but you never have to use the restroom?
I think this is a bigger problem to fix then deciding how hungry you are.

Having to go to the crapper on a game would be like playing the sims, no thanks.

Support for the new messages.

when your in a wild warzone like nightmist the last thing you are going to worry about is making an area less nice by leaving your urine and feces there.

actually in a war time invironment you going to have more equipment on than you care to take off just to take a dump on the ground and you would therefore find yourself like many soldiers in the filed going in your pants
Imperfection is inherited, therefore we all sin, but fighting the war of sin is the greatest war of all because we all die in the end no matter how hard we fight. Tupac
