Ok if these anoying little things are gona be around for a while can we have the drag rate dropped a bit, there everywhere and it makes it an anoyance to train low level characters, also a pic would be nice ;)

I thought they were locked to the meadow?
If you build it, they will come.

Err, I don't think anyone is majorly collecting those crystals anymore.... why there are so many running around.... There are like 50 in the large forest....... (lol), just from the 1 mox that spawns on the no-drag-to square.... lol....
Maybe, increase the drop rate for higher end crystals? It was good to start... but, the sheer volumne of crystals required (and the prime targets you make collecting them...), is a bit much...

Locked to the meadow and the large forest.... lol

Stat 81 of the meadow square immediately adjacent to the Large Forest is set to 1, meaning that monsters cannot be dragged onto it. Unfortunately, a Magimox spawns there, and can be dragged off of it (but not back on again). Players running from the Meadow into the Large Forest will likely drag that Magimox into the forest with them.

Stop it from spawning there? I don't know how easy that is though, but it sounds fairly simple.

Easy enough, yes, but this one is Pandilex's decision, as he implemented it.

P.S. To Pandilex: The room ID of the square in question is 1056.

So can the bunnies... there's not much we can do about that one. It works the other way too... Giant Spiders are sometimes dragged into the meadow.

I'll talk with the staff more on where they should be able to go and where they should not.

They are also in that undead forest north of the meadow and I agree it's hard to train low level crits now..

They were in the original nightmist if you played that...

They are not any trouble at all, they are easy to train a low lvl crit on. They do alot less damage than the other monsters in dying woodlands......so puleaze ;)

Those things were just as annoying back then as they completly covered the stretch from Nightmist to Cloud City. They would always get in the way of my Covert -> Attack -> Covert on the Stone Giant thing. That dropped the Stone Axe of the Ages.

The thing with Magimoxes is that they have quite high HP for a low-level monster (something like 300 HP), plus they attach to players and follow them like leeches and can become incredibly annoying.

TECHNICAL DETAILS FOLLOW

- To prevent them from entering the Large Forest, the one spawning on square 1056 (I think it was that one) needs to be removed.
- To stop them from entering the Barrier Forest (the undead area), the best solution would probably be to set stat 81 to 1 on the extreme NorthWest square of the meadow and the square to the East of it (the two squares that connect to the area)
- To stop them from going down into the Spider Tunnels, best bet would probably set stat 81 to 1 on the square directly down from the Sentry Spider in the meadow.

Its not like the magimox do 500 damage, they are relatively weak, and even make training on them pretty good. Some players, myself included, sweep the areas where these guys have been getting dragged. However, it seems crazy to me that while taking a paci to the tunnels the whole bottom half of the large forest was filled with groups of 2-5 magimox, that seems a bit unreal for just 1 square to pull to.
