Ok I have a suggestion for like a big world quest that effects the whole game:
Having looked at a mana crystal it says:
This crystal is mined from the sacred mount melior, and is said to contain vast amounts of magical energy.
I dont know if mount melior exists or not but what i was thinking was that some kind of monster or gang attacked mount melior and all supplies of mana to Nightmist were restricted. Basically there is some crazily strong monster in an area called mount melior and because of this NO shops in Nightmist sell mana crystals. Only after the monster has been defeated will sales of mana resume.
I think this would be interesting because using a clerics for healing would be extremely hard because of no mana. Because of this the mnster would have to be killed so people can continue training and do what they do. So the boss would take perseverance and team work to kill (but I guess this does screw over mages but who cares).
Maybe some far away city like Silversail would still sell mana but for stupidly expensive prices say 5k for an advanced mana crystal, expensive to to discourage people buying then. (If people can reasonably afford the mana crystals the point in the quest is undermined)
There wouldnt be any particular item from the monster because only good players would end up with it and thats not paticularly fair. No, when it is dead the shops would sell mana again for normal prices and maybe drop a reasonable amount of gold.
Perhaps just a day event because if noone kills it then everyone in Nightmist is shafted due to no mana.
What do you think?
I dont know if they staff do world evens but i remember long ago there was some dragon in the sewers that did hundreds of damage a hit and had loads of people trying to kill it.

I hope by Nightmist you mean the realm and not the city. Because if it was the city... I would just run to Windia... because they have advanced... or BT for lodes...

Yeah, the whole realm (The game is called Nightmist). Just feel it would spice things up a bit!

although i would support some sort of uber quest, like an invasion that destroyed a whole city like harabec leveling every square and we have to go and take vengance lol
