i know if u forget your password, you gotta have something to remind you. don't use email or anything via internet. why dont you either, for one thing, use microsoft word and save it to a floppy disk, or use an unforgettable password, or even write it down, put it on your bulletin board or somewhere where you can find it? i dont have anyone from nm on msn messenger, i dont get stolen from. yall that get stolen from only allow yourselves to

Your right in saying that most who get stolen from allow themselves to get stolen from. I would be willing to bet that less then 1% of all issues regarding theft have anything to do with the password recovery system. Actually NM has very very few theft issues at all. What NM has is betrayal issues.

the playerbase are too trusting with their nightmist characters
unfortuntely they all learn the hard way, by getting stolen from
it'd be nice if everyone could trust each other, and nightmist used to be like that for a while when the playerbase was small, and 20 characters on at a time was a lot (and the server used a dialup modem and wasn't laggy generally!)
