So what I have decided to do is create a clan named Nöt Förgöttën to honor the past. This isn`t an attempt at getting cool names. All characters will remian in Nöt Förgöttën. In thier profiles I will include as much info as I can about the player. And for as much as it kills me to do for some players all the info will be positive.
Some have approached me asking if they were to donate thier character as well as the name what would become of it. The character and the name will always be in Nöt Förgöttën and not used to better my game play. No items will be removed from the characters. They will be left just as they were given to me. (I hope to get to talk to JLH to see if there is something program wise he can do to ensure this so for those that don't trust me they will feel more comfortable about donating.)
In the event that a character is not donated I will choose one. This might be the answer to find a use for all those crappy human fighters. I would prefer myself that the characters be showcased in all thier glory but in most cases this won't happen.
My thinking behind this is that even tho some of the past players might have been hated by all. They impacted the game in one way or another. They helped to promote, enhance, and create the game we have all come to love. And for that I feel they should be remembered. It also gives me something contructive to do with my time.
In the event I myself choose to quit (Which I don't see happening anytime soon. 2 years of playing and I still love the game and all it has to offer.). I will turn the account over to a member of staff. Pandilex or JLH. If they choose to continue the tradition then so be it. If not then some n00bs are gonna have some cool names.
For some this may seem gay. But for the ones who have invested countless hours in the game they will understand.
