A while ago Pandilex took away my avatar because it was of 'drug use'..

This is it http://www.myweb.cab...mist/lostav.gif

I just saw a peace sign made of weed, a girls ass, a persons arms hand cuffed up with cuts on it (would that not be promoting 'cutting'?) and that was just in ONE post.

I'm just curious why I can't use the above one when obviously others have ones similar if not worse in some peoples opinions.

And actually, that Avatar is a small clip from a movie called Requiem for a Dream, which actually is against drug use.

I've been meaning to watch that movie. I've seen clips about it.

Very graphic and quite disturbing. I can't say that I know for a fact that it's true but... it's easy to imagine that this is happening countless times every year.

However, even though the entire movie is based around drug use and its negative effects, your avatar certainly isn't. I, myself, do not mind it but there are others who I'm sure would not like their children seeing something like that.

That just opens up the flood-gates for 'awkward talk' time.

The clip in question is of drug use and is offensive to some. True, the film from where it came from may be to promote saying NO to drugs, but that extract does not have any sound or commentary to go with it and is easily misinterpreted to promote drugs.

I encourage people to be creative, but please stay within the rules and keep Nightmist and its forum clean.

O.o Crane = forum mod? That's cute.

Anyway, that was the avatar that scared me. I don't see how it's that bad, but I'm glad it's gone...just skurry.
