I recently just got my very first thief and i have no clue where to train it. Anyone care to help? It's lvl 13 atm

If you have leveled any rangers or berserkers. Follow pretty much the same path along the way.
Or just explore with it, it'll level eventually.
Edit: But the scarlet daggers guild is good until about 15, thats up from the sleeping fox in nightmist.

i own astaria,trach,pokerice_two,tape id gladly train with u if i am on ...and if we can find a decent cleric being as i jsut sold mine we can hit the swamps..lol

When training thieves i usually do my own type of a lvl restriction,
South of nightmist: 1-5
Scarlet dagger: 5-15
Swamps: 15-23(24 depends if im bored)
Desert path: 23(24)-28
Desert maze: 28-30
South of nightmist: 1-5

i think swamps till 26... then were ever... i train my master thief on trolls, wolves, ettins, mountain lions, bandits (sometimes)... and i do all this with just a master and a lvl 21 thief, i use the hit and run technique on the stronger monsters

i lvl from 1-5 like i would any other crit...oak staff on small snakes...and then i go to swamps(to first vine only) and him and 1 lvl 18+ pally or cleric and i just let him lvl really fast..stay in swamps till lvl 25..then desert or about anywhere

Levels 1-25 (maxxed out) I go to swamps.. and pretty much stay there except for trips through the sdg.
Once they have a dotw I go pretty much anywhere. Some places are better than others.. Page me in game on Amy and will discuss it further.

I have a question on my I being a noob have not much gold so how are we noobs supposed to get a DoTW when we dont even have 200k?

YEAH IVE FOUND THAT THE BEST PLACES ARE WITH THE BEARS BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE A STRONG HEALING CRIT WITH YOU. ITS ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE A CRIT WITH JUSTICE ZONE WITH YOU TOO SO YOU CANNOT GET PKED.

When you're training thieves in Desert, do you attack or assassinate? In addition, if you assassinate, do you wait for full stamina?
