Bought another pc and went to install nm and that error occurs. Any ideas?

Did you use any torrent software for downloading?
Try redownloading the file using Internet Explorer. (Might be a corrupt download)

Not sure what the issue is. Everything I try to download is cancelled automatically.IE wont even display the NM page. I get the same error for other .exe files as well.

You would probably do well to redownload IE and get all your windows updates, if its happening with everything.

Sounds like a registry issue, possibly because of malware and the like.
