Makes no sense what-so-ever.
Why bother using the word league when the person that wins it is actually at more of a disadvantage than those who lose. To any normal person that is completely rediculous - since when have you ever been able to lose and get a second chance in this event. To me it was perfectly clear, I should have won, Tru second, Dynamics third. It's not hard to figure out looking at those results now is it?
I don't give a crap about not winning (which is HARD for some of you to understand i know!) but what I do give a crap about is a perfectly good event being turned into a pile of garbage over something as rediculous as this. It's easy to change so the system actually makes sense/works, so why has it not been done, how many new staff got hired again?.......

I'll post my reasons once.. and if this people wish this to be discussed further they can make a topic in the discussion forum.
-The Round Robin occours when more than 8 teams and less than 16 teams are entered.
I let this happen so everyone who pages can join rather than turning round to people and saying "the event is full".
-The Round Robin acts as a semi final and happens when there are three players remaining. The player who loses the most is eliminated from the round.
I do this instead of: having 1 duel and the winner going through to the final, and the 3rd player going through to the final by default.
-Regardless of how many wins people aquire in the Round Robin. The two with the most go through to the final.
That is how I have always previously run the 3-alt proficiency tournament. If people disagree with how I run it, then I will simply just limit the entry to 8 teams unless 16 people wish to enter.

Just a bit of inconsistency in the way it's been run in the past is what Ste is trying to say, put in a less agro kind of way.
Nothing you can do about it now really Ste but I see where you're coming from. However, Emma pretty much runs every event bless her. The precedent has now being set clearly so from now on everyone should be clear on the rules when she runs it.
Good job all involved, BL Ste about the way it turned out. Grats to the guy who won the final final!
