Eep - I didn't know that was possible! Still, it should make the bombs more valuable now if people can make them, but that shouldn't really be possible, bombing Pacifists.

People should be able to bomb pacifists. Its the only way from stopping a pacifist from sitting in museum until he's gotten 350k gold on him (the amount I got) or longer.

However, I dont know if it should put a deaths by players on the person's profile. That maybe shouldnt be right.

I'm concerned because this does violate the Pacifist class. (Pacifists cannot drop or throw bombs themselves). Mind you, it gives the bombs some value...

But you should be revealed if you throw them at someone though, which this person wasn't.

At present, Subdue and Shield Self do not protect the Pacifist at all from bomb damage, which I feel they should do... at present Pacifists have absolutely no defense against a bombing run (then again, that's just like crits have no defense against Greater Pact, but at least that doesn't kill them directly)

P.S. Trevayne and I did talk about Pacifists and bombs a while ago, which is why Pacifists cannot use them now. I was aware and okay with the fact that bombs lying on the floor could harm Pacifists, but I totally overlooked the ability for players to directly throw them at Pacifists (the simplest things always get me!)

this is awesome. pacifists have an economic advantage over all other classes. they're too efficient to be invulnerable to the economy they wrestle with.

i know paci's are a solo class but they don't play a different game than the rest of us, they're essentially offline outside of the fact that they support everyone else, and that is a larger unintended consequence than some dudes being blown up.

Very well put Dognapot. I do not believe that paci armor spells like subdue or shield self should block bomb damage. As it is now a bomb is the only defense we have against paci's seeing that they can stop us from hurting monsters etc as they please. And can run up gold pretty much non stop without fearing death until now. Things should stay as they are. They needed something to stop them now they have it.

Maybe giving out the higher-end bombs like confetti in moshes isnt such a good idea...... perhaps give out lower end bombs, or ingredients for the higher end ones.

With Europa at 7.8 billion experience, and 1% experience loss per pk, one strafing run would take 780 mil experience from him. Thats crazy.

This should not be changed back. Now, there's at least a way to kill the pacifist thats casting jz and gping at bosses. This will lead to more old fashioned boss square fights. This is a good thing for Nightmist. Leave things the way they are.

I don't think bombs count as PKs anyway, unless it is programmed so it does count for the player that threw it. At present, if I am victim of a bombing run, I will lose 0.5% experience, about 37.4 million XP (I only have 7.48 billion XP)... still a lot, and I'm very possessive over my experience points!!
