I think you should be able click on a spell, and drag it to the desired location. Or maybe a command. ie '/moveup heal' or '/movedown aid'
Something like that. It seems like it wouldn't be to hard to implement.
What do you think?

I like it, that way you could take spells you use all the time and put them at the top and ones you do not use much but enough it is annoying to hide them at the bottom, that would be GREAT but it might be hard to code (I dunno the NM source sorry).

thats why they create the '/hide spell' command to the game. To hide those spells you don't consider on using.

I, personally, use almost all my spells (even shock). I'd rather be able to move Beam to the top, Blast after it and Flame and Shock after it, respectively.
Although, maybe this just can't be coded easily. I just think this would be convenient.
