I think PKing should be limited to exp class(IE:Adept on Adept, Arch on Arch, Expert on Expert). That isn't that big of difference most are 5-7 levels apart and would make it alot better. One level 27 fighter could take out 10 17's with little effort and Healing pots. The level 17's don't even have a chance to use pots, one 3or4 stamina kills em instantly. By the time you know who is getting attacked, they are dead. Now a exp class break would close that gap. 5 levels apart is alot closer of a battle, one or two could get lucky and win, but they could survive long enough to use pots or something. I haven't been playing long, but it is annoying having a party of 10 level 25-30 people in sewers when trying to travel through. If they park at a crossroad and are ready, they could kill someone just stopping long enough to hit other direction. I'm having trouble getting past level 20 cause of that. Every time I pass an arch, he comes and hunts me down. So I've been training others waiting for them to get to lev 20 as well so I might be able to stand a chance.

I remember when I started playing. Back then there was no level cap at all. I would run through the grassy meadow on a lvl 5 ranger, trying to get to my guild and before I knew it a lvl 30 pked me.

We all coped with the situation back then and managed to train our crits regardless. You are lucky to have a lvl cap at all, because most of us didn't get to enjoy that luxury.

If you want to tighten the lvl cap even more, you may as well take pking out of the game completely. Personally I hate running in a party with some low lvl crits and watching while someone pks them while I sit on my archmaster not able to touch the person who is killing my babies. I'd even vote for dropping the lvl cap completely. Let's go back to the way things used to be!

That would limit arches to only killing arches and masters to only killing masters ... which unfortunately seems hardly fair.
How do you explain that two people in different "title" ranges, who are only 1 level appart can't kill each other? Does it even seem fair that they can't?

I'm against putting in a five-seven level limit, or an Adept/Journeyman/Master limit when there's already a 10level limit in place.
And for that matter... why would you want to make it a five-seven "title" based level limit, when there's already a 10-level limit in place?
Just to stop the archies? What else are they going to do with their time ^^;

Pking is, in all honesty, part of the game.

Might I recommend finding a mage (or making a mage) who shall be able to make you invisible asyou run through the sewers? Always helped me ^^

Or finding some nice, non-pking people to come and be your backup as you go through. Tends to be harder, but is sometimes possible.

I'm actually surprised there are still pkers camping the sewers... I guess I just hit keys so fast I don't see the names anymore...

Which is another suggestion.
Use the everloved macros or just type the directions to where you want to go really quickly, without ever stopping to look at where your going
Then you tend to pass them by too quickly for them to notice and attack you.

I can see that this would support new players to the game well but I'm not sure it would go down well with the current players. I don't support this.

i agree with this strategy, it has gotten one of my crits to Journeyman with 0 player kills.

You get an arch fighter and come fight my 10 lvl 15 fighters in an arena...i'll show you little effort B) B)

Anyway, i reckon you might as well scrap the pk level limit altogether, people are gonna have to get used to being killed at some point :)

Also, it will make new players explore more, and find interesting places to train, which is always good B)

i agree alan. if there was no limit at all like it use to be, this would force players to find them self a place to train that is not often visited if they didnt want to get pked.
