They look the same. I say... #2 because bigger is better. (I know it's going to be the same size as #1 but I don't care!)

Yeah the guy did say forum banner, not forum sig....so that would go at the top/bottom of page? and so on if I remember the correct usage of banners, they can also be displayed on other sites to increase traffic to said forum and their right, both pics are the same minus the size...did you mean to post something else as number 2?

When I first read this topic, there was a different one in #1. I guess he made his choice and is showing us the new size for #2.
