For years when I played Nightmist, I always wanted to see it in 2D form. So I've started this little project in an attempt to re-build the entire world of Nightmist on a 2D gaming engine. It's going to be difficult, but what the heck.

This isn't RPG Maker, it's a stand alone custom engine. Yes, but the original founder has taken over that now, makes more sense for me to do a project I've been wanting to do for a long time. Yes, I could do an original world, with original content, but making a visual representation of a world I've spent the last 10+ years looking at through text-based glasses seems more appealing to me.
Confucius needs to buy some more empty glasses.

Once I've done the mapping for Nightmist Town I'm gunna let you guys have a run around. I'm in the middle of another gaming project at the moment so Nightmist Origins isn't really a priority. If more people were to show interest in it i'd happily move it up the list, but as it is right now, it's being worked on whenever I feel like it.

If not I'm going to put it on the shelf as I do have other projects.
