Hey all! Got the itch to play some NM lately after goodness knows how many years, checked the site to see if some of my crits still exist (thought they were deleted every 2 years or so?).. anyway, turns out they are, downloaded NM, logged in, but every crit I try to log on to says has been banned. Any ideas?

What are your character names?

Hey there, would definitely love to help you out.
First of all, are these characters on 1-alt or Multi-alt? That will definitely determine who is going to be able to help you out, first of all. And then yes, as Gaddy says, we will need character names.
If you are a 1-alt player I can assist you further. If you are a multi player we will get you in touch with someone else who can assist you.

Wow thanks for the quick replies sorry, wasn't expecting it so quickly..
Umm I guess my main would be Moonlight on multi-alt (In your clan, too, Gaddy! ).. I'm sure I had some lowbies on 1a, but I'm not too fussed about getting them back
Great to see people still playing btw! I always feel nostalgic for NM, though I do miss deaths by staff! xD Anyway, I'll check this thread more often - if you need any more information, please let me know

Your account isn't showing as banned. What happens if you try to create a new crit from a new account?

Thanks for all your help everyone
I just created a crit called "Checking", but it just says "This character has been banned." and the program exits
EDIT: sorry, didn't see the new account thing, made a new account/crit, and same issue. 
alternate port/DNS doesn't help either.. hmm.

You might want to send a message to JLH, because I'm not sure what's causing it - it's probably something to do with your IP or computer ID.
