What do you think is the all around best class.Best meaning best at killing people or/and monsters.My votes for Paladin.Strong class at duels and can survive out in the wilderness for a long time.

To be honest I have to agree with the majority here, pallys are prolly the best all around characters in the game. But my favorite has to be Clerics.

Druids... They're pretty powerful, plus with camouflage and track they're really nice.

Gotta go with druids as well..not only is there stormwarth awsome at low levels, they can gain massive amount of armor with the help of spells.

I vote Thieves. They are pretty good pk'ers, from what I understand. Also, they can sit out and kill monsters all day without ever getting seen. That is, of course, lesser monsters such as bears, snakes etc.

I've lasted far longer outside town with Thieves than any other class by itself.

i vote clerics, with being able to heal for 400+ every single round is a duel winner, no matter who your against.

I'd also like to point out that they can get 27 dex and cast a spell to make its apponent miss more...

I voted for Druids. Because at level 28+ I think they're unbeatable.

Let me explain, At level 28 a druid with max armor items, aoh, antlers, sgs, 4 crs and sof can get about 160+ armor all spelled up. A fighter at arch hits you for about 13+ damage or misses. Mages, clerics, pallys and other druids, if a druid duels the right way can own these guys, because a druid at level 27+ takes away their mana points. A thief can be a pain, Wisdom duel a few thieves and he had about 144 armor and some thieves did about 120+ on him. Finaly zerkers just misses you period, they do still hit you for 60+ even with 144armor, but they would miss a lot and with gaes spelled to help you hit offten and a little more, you would still own a zerker.

To prove my point I will duel anyone any class against Wisdom one on one, useing nothing, but what your character has to use.

I think as an all around class Paladins myself. They hit well enough and can heal themselves making them a great challenge one on one and as well as just training on their own.

I'll have to go with Druids. From what I've seen, they're pretty capable at handling themselves in all sorts of situations. I can imagine them being not half bad at bosses too.
If thieves were a bit better as to boss killing, I'd go for them, but they seem totally out classed in the department (as do all other classes), by Rangers.

Im rather suprised at all the pally fans as all mine does is sit in my account looking pretty.

My vote was for a mage, true pretty nuts for boss kills and so on mainly because of high mana usage, but isnt it fun invising 5 crits with a covert thief and causing some mahem? Well i think so anyway

Also i personaly think it is the only class that gives you a bit of a challenge to train to archmaster meaning i allmost have a little respect for others who have gone through the same training prosesses i have.

Thieves do have the amazing advantage of being able to stay hidden with no loss to themselves (unless they move).

mine would be clerics overall, i personally think they can be somewhat strong fully armored and spelled up.. you try combatting a crit with 120ish armor(i need to test this out myself) 29str and 24dex that can heal itself for 115s each time and see what i mean.. when i was a noob(boy, so little has changed :S) i used to laugh at Arch clerics and think 'hahahaha bet they so easy to kill' till i ran up to one with my highest lvl crit at that stage (lvl 20 fighter with pike) and tried to kill it. lol, i think i got it to slightly a couple of times, then he spelled himself up and then rounded me with his Morning Star.. ahh i miss that crit.. anyway enough rambling on from me i guess

Druids and pallies are best. Clerics have no motivation to attack. Where as pallies can get a good attack in and still keep healed. Druids are krazy with there enhanced defense and can be pushed a long way if controlled by a good player. My vote is the druid

Hmmm, lets look at it in this perspective. Pallies seem to be thought of as the best class, but why don't we see pallies around much? Because they are not an alt class! (aka clicker class) It is sad that Nightmist has relied on the use of alts. But we all know that already. That sad, what do you think is the best class in the current situation Nightmist is in? Which is alt-frenzy.

Paladins! They straight pwn in duels, I dueled an arch cleric, won with ease. (took a while though, for mana usage purposes). Then I dueled arch cleric, arch ranger, on 1 with my paladin. Dropped cleric then ran outta mana.

Also, in a RP perspectice Paladins are my personal favorite. I like the entire holy knight, fighter/healer theme.

Finally, they're just sexy.
