So, I was writing up a reply the other night when I had to leave, and lost it. Freaking second time this week. I hate that crap.
So, to sum it up, I basically wrote about how me and Simon have differing opinions and that we should just accept that. And the rest was to Simon about his Japanese which I will now switch writing styles to tell.
Well, Simon, you said that 行っています means "to go and be" which I guess could be true, but I've never heard anything like that used before. So I am not sure if you know this grammar yet or not, but `ています is the "ing" form of verbs. 食べています = eating 飲んでいます = drinking etc etc. I am pretty sure you know this, so I don't know why you said 行っています means "go and be". You've been studying Japanese long enough to be able to tell the difference.
I'd like to see some of your Japanese, and i'll post some of mine once I get some. Also, do you know informal conjugations?
