Poll: Change it back to how it was. (25 member(s) have cast votes)

Should it be changed back to how it was before without log to local in whole place?

Im not sure why it was changed in the first place, but with it being the way it is now the museum is pretty much useless unless you need to get a divine of restoration scroll.

I know its been this way for a little while to, but im starting to play again and the zeum is a place lots like to train, also the 4th floor drops pieces needed for crafting to lvl up to lvl 33. There isnt a proper way to farm those pieces unless you have enough time to sit there and get them all in one day, cause if you log off then you have to try to manage to make it back again.

I say we make the zeum back the way it used to be. Im not saying re raise the scarab pods as i know that wont happen, but atleast make it not log to local it dont make any sense.

It was changed to keep people from parking in there and making mass xp with little or no effort. If you don't want the zeum to be log to local, play main.

I love leaving lvl 20 druid checkers on every floor so I know where to go to PK people easily too. (/sarcasm)

Wow i guess its nice to see that the majority of the playerbase is now spineless and wants to be able to log off to safety anytime a pker shows up. Put it back and make the game interesting again. Its not as easy to mass exp on zeum as you think it is. Pkers prevent that.

Till I see a reason that would make me actually believe it should be changed back... it stays the way it is..

How does the Museum being log to local affect the fact that people log off when they are getting pk'd? Simply due to the fact that people do it regardless of whether they are in a log to local area or not.

the museum was an easy place for crits with vamp weapons with food and water, or druids to go and amass lots of xp and gold. i have seen people leave with 200k+. its better off the way it is now.

Just to point out the obvious. Most places that were made log to local that werent bosses was because of the value of the drops near by them. Can you tell me what valueable item is dropped in the zeum? I mean think about it. Why even go in the zeum now unless you need a scroll of DR. If you are saying cause you can make gold effortlessly, then lets make Land of the Dead l2l, Misty Path, Desert, faravar, tirantek, forest of silence, demonics as clerics stay on second floor, and Rose Garden all log to local. To be honest i think your logic in it being log to local is flawed as there are far better golding areas in game that give even more exp. I guarantee you that you can make more gold in faravar from hitting and running lionesses then in zeum, not to mention the 100 pod exp. Now if someone can give me a good answer to why all the other areas arent log to local and this is, then i will gladly accept it. Mark i think this should point out a good reason why it shouldnt be log to local being that the others arent log to local as well.

I've always thought the whole game, other than towns, being log to local was a good idea.

Look jake. Museum takes a key to get into, and to progress to each floor another key. The reason this is log to local and rose garden is not is because it takes different keys. Also, museum is much more safer then rose garden because it takes.. keys..

Land of the Dead requires a spade and a token coin of cyric which is used as a key.
Forest of Silence requires Seal of Betrayal which is a key.
Rose Garden requires Roses as a key. Then Petal key for GCB then Thorn Key for Atrium.

Yet these places are not log to local. Also Land of the Dead does require keys to go up just like the museum.

So again like i was told, it was done cause of gold. Not cause of keys. So i agree with Mark, make the rest log to local as well. If you are gonna do one lets do them all. Its only fair. Why leave one good golding area where you can log to local when you can do them all? That way its hard on everyone all the way around.

The whole game being log to local would benefit the lower echelon players. As the much more capable players would not be able to camp anything.

The only one of those that takes a real key is Forest of Silence, which could be log to local (Same with the upper floors of pyramid). You can't count two examines or a 100% drop from a click-able monster as real keys. Museum keys actually take a -while- to get.

It was me who made the museum log to local, and i dont believe i have ever told anyone the reasons why. So when you were "told" why it was made log to local, you were mis-informed.

The museum was made log to local, as the gold and exp available there was very high in relation to other area's, for the relative low difficulty of monsters. (Easily solo-able with a thief and dotw). The design of the museum as a structure, was that people would have to collect the keys to progress through, and with all the floors not being log to local, this was not happening. Characters were being used as checkers, to quickly run through each floor and kill players, and in my opinion, ruined the design of the museum.

Yes there are other area's that you can earn good gold/exp. But they are not keylocked in the same way, and the role play design behind the area is not akin to the museum. (And they simply havnt flagged up as a problem, due to low player inhabitation)

I think a poll with 14 people FOR keeping it this way, and two against, speaks for itself on this.
